This child truly is a ham.

Three of my favorite girls.

Photo credit on this one goes to my sister, family pictures with little ones are a challenge, but this is us.

A fun day, full of activities!  We hit up the local animal farm to check out the spring babies.  The chicks were the highlight again this year, although playing with the bunnies came in a close second.  The goat licked my daughter's cheek, but I wasn't ready with the camera to catch that moment, although I love the one I did catch.  We made trip to a local dam and then topped the day off decorating eggs with Kool-aid.

My sister is here for the Easter weekend, which means new games to play on a different phone and lots of books to be read.  We are all so happy she is here!

This little girls loves her dolls.  She insisted on getting right down from her crib after her nap to transport the dolls to a new location.  Love that I could capture this moment.

Finally a sunny, warmish day to try out my new lens outside.  Definitely a challenge in full sun, but still acceptable results.

A puzzle for each and a chance to play around with aperature and just how narrow my focus range can be with this new lens.

Target attempt #2.  Still not happy.  I think what I am missing is the arch that other Targets have which seems to tie the shot together for me.  Once we got home from shopping apparently my youngest was hungry... she got out all the bibs and proceeded to put them on, then tried to climb into her sister's chair.  Shopping does wear a girl out.

This will soon become Brioche Bread.  Two years ago, my sister gave me the cookbook Artisan Bread in 5 Minutes a Day.  I never had a chance to try it with the craziness that life became and after making this I regret not getting to it sooner.  Delicious.

You know how they say kids watch your every move, that they don't miss much?  My husband and I are finding that more and more true as the days go by.  This afternoon, I watched as my oldest worked on getting her phone to stay in her pants, off to the side, just like Daddy.  Younger sister watched the entire thing and then later tried to do the same with her phone.  Below: see Mommy, my phone is just like Daddy's!

She grew, again, and can now reach the buttons on the TV much to her sister's annoyance.

Looks like cheese, right?  Actually, it is grated soap, Kirk's castile soap, which I turned into homemade laundry soap.  Friends swear by this stuff, so we will see.  I can tell you right now, it smells amazing!

What may be the last of the snow until next winter.  Stacking all my filters makes focus a challenge.  Even with the tripod.  Still love being able to capture these flakes and I am excited to play around with flowers and such this spring.

We all got sick, but she got the worst of up.  Up all night every 15-45 minutes getting sick.  Poor baby could hardly keep her eyes open the next day.  While we were busy cleaning, disinfecting and trying to recover ourselves, I found the little one with chair pushed up to the counter reaching Consumer Reports.  She was not happy I found her because that meant she was coming down.

Oh the things I can do with this lens.  Love the eye peaking out from my uncooperative subject.  We have had some sunnier days too which makes wonderful opportunity for catchlights in my kids gorgeous eyes.

While we were cleaning lunch, my oldest decided to drag a chair over to read her sister a story.  She thought it was hilarious that big sister was reading to her.  Then, more practice with the prime.  Starting to get the hang of it and loving the results!

Today we had several visitors, my best friend and her little boy, plus another friend and her little girl!  While the Moms visited, the kids played doctor and had fun making each other laugh.  Both girls see the same pediatrician and when playing doctor 'whistle' like he does when checking their ears.  He always asked if they thing there is a bird in their ear, so it was hilarious to watch them acting the same scenario out with each other.  A nice break from the long days being cooped up indoors.

Both my girls love their Grandma.  Once in her arms, forget about coming back to Mom, only she will do.

I got a snowflake!!  Now, I know this is not anywhere near perfect, but here is what I was dealing with.  Yesterday, it snowed on a off all day.  The only times it wasn't snowing was during my children's nap time and when my husband was home for 10 minutes before I had to leave for yoga.  So, this morning when it was snowing again, I quick ran outside in my PJ's with my three year old in hers and socks to try to quick capture some flakes.  It was apparent I needed my tripod, but there was no time.  I'm just happy you can see this one, even though it is blurry.  Now, we just need some more snow.

She lined them up to sing the ABC's to them.  Perfect time for Mom to play.
